PH.D. DISSERTATION OPPORTUNITY
This laboratory will support graduate students from the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology or Physiology at VCU to conduct cardiovascular and renal research to complete their PhD dissertation. A 3-year program will be proposed for basic and advanced trainings in the labortatory. All graduate students will be trained to write a research training grant to apply for funding from NIH, American Heart Association or other agencies. Two manuscripts should be accepted by scientific journals with impact factor more than 5 for completion of PhD dissertation. Currently, some interesting areas of research are as follows:
